This Privacy Policy explains how DigiScan handles information when you use the DigiScan mobile application and this website.
Information DigiScan Collects
DigiScan does not require an account. DigiScan is designed so that documents you scan are processed on your device and remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, save, print, or otherwise send them outside the app.
DigiScan does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising.
Documents and Images
Scanned documents, photos, generated files, and related content are controlled by you. If you choose to share or export a document to another app, cloud service, email address, printer, or person, that destination's terms and privacy practices may apply.
Camera and Photo Access
DigiScan may request access to device features such as the camera or photo library so that you can scan, import, crop, enhance, save, or export documents. These permissions are used to provide app functionality you initiate.
Support Communications
If you email support, DigiScan may receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. This information is used to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app.
Diagnostics and App Store Data
Apple may provide developers with limited, aggregated App Store, purchase, crash, or diagnostics information according to your device settings and Apple's policies. DigiScan uses any such information only to understand app performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
Children's Privacy
DigiScan is not directed to children under 13, and DigiScan does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so the information can be reviewed and deleted if appropriate.
Data Retention
Documents stored in DigiScan remain available until you delete them, remove the app, or otherwise manage them through your device. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to requests, maintain records, and improve the app.
Your Choices
- You can manage camera, photo, and other permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can delete scans or exported files that you control on your device or in destinations where you saved them.
- You can contact support to request deletion of personal information you provided through support communications.
